What is Sofwave™ Skin Regeneration and Lifting Treatment?
Sofwave™ is the latest technology to revitalize the skin through innovative stimulation of the production of new collagen. Sofwave™ is FDA-cleared for lifting the eyebrow, submental, and neck while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
How does Sofwave™ work?
Sofwave™ uses proprietary Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam (SUPERB™) technology; ultrasound energy precisely passes through the skin’s surface (the epidermis), heating the mid-dermal tissue at just the precise depth and temperature to rejuvenate collagen fibers and improving the overall appearance of the skin.
The depth for treating wrinkles is 1.5mm in the mid-dermis. SUPERB™ technology generates heat at this exact depth in the mid-dermis. Additionally, there is an integrated cooling mechanism Sofcool™ that protects the uppermost skin layer from burning.

Pre-care
Pre-treat the skin for 1-2 Weeks before Sofwave™ treatment by applying Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar (AM/PM). Come in with clean skin and remove any facial hair. We cannot treat over-open wounds, severe or cystic acne, or sunburns.
Post-care
Immediately after & adding to your daily routine, apply Alastin Restorative skin complex (face), Restorative neck complex (neck).

It is important for the patient to sit still during the treatment. This will ensure full contact from the applicator to the skin to avoid burning.
Results can be seen in as little to 4 weeks but typically full results will be 3-6 months after your treatment.
You can treat the entire face including neck. Should you only want specific areas on the face we are able to do forehead, lower face or neck on its own.
A typical Sofwave™ treatment is 60-90 minutes. This will depend on if you would like to use numbing cream or not.
Redness from the Sofwave™ treatment can last for 3-5 days. This can be covered with tinted makeup. If the condition persists, please report it to our office immediately.
